So my mom took some pictures of us when we were painting last weekend. She also requested to have them posted on the blog.
My cheerleading technique sure came in handy(Ryan could have used a little training). Oh how I miss doing shoulder sits, and shoulder stands. Notice Ryan's Delta Football shirt. I had a Delta wrestling shirt and shorts on and some sweet socks. I guess we had Delta Pride that day.

Looks like fun, Mel. I would have been scared to death, though, sitting on his shoulders right next to the stairs. Are you painting it the same yellow as the wall next to it! I bet it'll look great when you're done!
That is so funny! I have a ladder if you need to borrow it sometime!
Renee- It is actually orange.
Jill- The problem was we had already painted the wall above the stairs so we had wet paint, so we couldn't put the ladder up against it and we couldn't put the ladder sideways on the stairs either. (We aren't very smart)
Nice! I have to say Adam and I have done some similiar looking stunts to try and get a light fixture down.
You guys are awsome! I love people who are brave with paint! I swore my new house would have all kinds of different colors....WRONG! I totally chickened out! My whole house is tan! booooriiinggg!! You guys have killer moves though! haha!
Come on Mel, aren't shoulder sits a little too basic? I've seen you do way more than that! What about the pictures of you standing straight up with Ryan holding you with one hand? ;) You guys sure do have Delta pride!
Hey Mel, Greg and I thought you guys looked hilarious!! I would have never thought to sit on Greg's shoulders!! Instead, I put a stool on top of a chair! It looks like fun! I love to paint.
MELANIE... BLAST from the past just a little!! You look so cute with your little boys. Bless you. I am glad you found me.. But I have been meaning to delete my blog, but I have to find a way to save it first. So email me, I would love to keep in touch. taramabry@mac.com
Don't forget! BTW.. where do you guys live now?
Also, you and your husband look hesterical trying to paint together. Mark and I could never do that. We are both too impatient! Good job!
