Flaming Gorge

Last week we went to Flaming Gorge for a few days with our friends Justin & Jen. We had so much fun. The water was so nice. We saw the whole lake it was so pretty. Jen thinks the Utah side is much prettier and I would have to agree with her. (Sorry Justin! He is from Wyoming) It was so fun wake boarding on glassy water. The kids had a blast too. Sam had so much fun riding 4 wheelers. Jack loved riding the tube. The babies did really good being in the boat so long. One of the best things was Justins homeade ice cream! Flaming Gorge is one of my new favorite places.

4th of July

We went down to Delta again this weekend for the 4th of July. We haven't gone to Delta for the 4th for a few years because we have gone to Lake Powell instead.

Amber and I ran the 5k that morning. We went to the parade and spent some time in the park. Jack has never even been to a parade. We are horrible parents. Ashton was on the football team float this year. Then we went to Grandma Lois' house to watch the fireworks that night.(Jack has never seen big fireworks either)

On Saturday night we had a Korean Barbecue and the Annual Beckstrom Boat Race! We go over to the canal called Stinky Poo and race our boats. They can be made, a toy, a stick just about anything! Macey won the whole event and 1st place in the kids race and Grandma Tina won the adult race. Grandpa Mike won most creative. The entrance fee is one dollar. It is so much fun and the kids love it too.

This is the finish line.

Ryan got sponsored by Dr. Pepper and Mtn. Dew. A guy he knows works for Pepsi and gave him the stickers, he also wants us to send him a picture so he can put it on his website.

Fun in Delta

We went to Delta for a few days and had a lot of fun. Other than Ryan wasn't able to go with us. I went wake boarding for the first time this summer. I was sooo sore the next day. Will had his first boat ride. His life jacket covered half of his face because he has no neck. He did so good in the boat.

We went up to the canyon and roasted hot dogs and marshmallows and rode 4 wheelers. It was also Will's first trip to the canyon.

We also spent time at Grandpa Mike and Grandma Tina's house. Braden wanted me to wrap him up like a burrito. That is how we wrap Will up to sleep.
