Amber and I ran the 5k that morning. We went to the parade and spent some time in the park. Jack has never even been to a parade. We are horrible parents. Ashton was on the football team float this year. Then we went to Grandma Lois' house to watch the fireworks that night.(Jack has never seen big fireworks either)
On Saturday night we had a Korean Barbecue and the Annual Beckstrom Boat Race! We go over to the canal called Stinky Poo and race our boats. They can be made, a toy, a stick just about anything! Macey won the whole event and 1st place in the kids race and Grandma Tina won the adult race. Grandpa Mike won most creative. The entrance fee is one dollar. It is so much fun and the kids love it too.

Ryan got sponsored by Dr. Pepper and Mtn. Dew. A guy he knows works for Pepsi and gave him the stickers, he also wants us to send him a picture so he can put it on his website.

Way to go running a 5K!! It was fun seeing you at the park, even though I wasn't in a very good mood! :) Maybe next year will be better!
We had a really fun 4th, but I am always sad on the years that we don't go to Delta! I'm glad you guys had fun-I had also forgotten about stinky poo-that's funny!
