First Day of Second Grade

Today was Sam's first day of second grade. He was excited and a little bit nervous. I was excited for him until he was gone about an hour and I started to miss him. It just makes me sad to think that I can't be there for him during those first days of school when it is kind of scary. But he did just fine, I'm just kind of a baby.

Stuff we did this summer!

I have kind of been a slacker on some of the activities that we did this summer so here are a few things that we did.

We went to Lagoon in July with Jeremy and Jeanna's family, and Luke. We had a fun time. One thing that I don't like about Lagoon is all the Trashy people, man where the heck do they all come from??? Our first ride was WICKED. Right when it took off Sam got whiplash and hit his nose and got a bad bloody nose. Thank goodness Rylee had some tissue she handed it back to us so we could kind of get cleaned up. So I didn't even get to enjoy the ride because I was covering Sams nose the whole time. As soon as we were off the ride we shoved tissue up his nose and went right on the Colossus. Sam was such a good sport. Sam's favorite ride was Rattle Snake Rapids. Jack was so funny I finally talked him into going on the Tidal Wave and he did pretty good but he was kind of confused he liked it but it scared him. He said, "that was scary". I asked him if he wanted to go again and he said yea. So we went on it 3 times and he was scared each time but he still wanted to go. Around 10 that night we ran into Christina she is Ryan's cousin so we took the kids on a couple of rides with her kids.

We also went to Yuba in July with my family for a few days. I have to admit I was kind of a party pooper. It was so dang windy if I didn't have a baby it was have been okay. The kids had a blast though. They had fun playing with their cousins.

We also went to the Dinosaur Museum with Dena, Derek and Braden in August. We had a good time we watched a 3D movie and the kids loved playing in the sand.

Another Birthday at the Nielson house!

Yes another birthday celebration at our house. Today is Ryan's birthday. Can you believe he is 32 yes 32 he is getting so old, but I don't have to worry I will never be as old has him :0)

So last night we had a barbecue with some family and friends we had a great time. We had brats, hot dogs, yummy salads, the cream cheese cake from Costco it was soooo good, and we had homemade ice cream I made some butterfinger and Justin made yummy oreo again.

The kids had so much fun playing with their cousins and friends. We have the best family and friends.

Today is Sam's 7th birthday. I can not believe I have a 7 year old. Sam is such a good kid. He is always good to do what he is told even if he doesn't want to. He is a great big brother too. I hope you have a great day Sam I love you.

I Love The Olympics

I love watching the olympics. I am addicted to them. Thank goodness they aren't on all the time or I would never get any sleep. I loved watching the swimming relay the other night with Micheal Phelps it was so exciting.

A month after the 2004 olympics we went to Disneyland and they had a swimming with the stars on main street so we were able to see Michael Phelps swim it was so fun.

10th Wedding Anniversary

So today is our 10th Wedding Anniversary. I can not believe we have been married 10 years. I was very lucky to find a great man to marry. Ryan is the best. He is the best husband, the best dad, the best friend. He is a little crazy :0) too, but he is perfect for me. We have 3 beautiful boys Sam,Jack and Will, and twin boys Eli & Eddie waiting for us to return to them up in heaven. I Love You Ry. Happy Anniversary!!

Happy Birthday JACK!!!!

Today is Jacks birthday. I can't believe he is 4 years old. He has definitely brought a lot of joy and excitement to our family. He is a cute sweet little guy, and one of my challenges in life. I love you Jack I hope you have a good day.

Every year on my kids birthday I take a picture of them in one of Ryan's shirts so that is Jack when he turned 1,2,3, and 4. I took some pictures of him this morning I had to bribe him to get them taken.

Here are some funny things Jack has said lately.

Whenever he changes his clothes and is naked he yells I'm in my party suit, I'm in my party suit.

The other day he got some shorts out to put on and he said I'm going to put my short sleeve pants on.

Whenever his shirt is inside out he says my shirt is upside out.
